The U0500STD is the model that started it all over 70 years ago. This model is as-sembled with a close grain cast iron housing and is capable of transmitting up to 5 horsepower at 1800 rpm. The U0500STD offers 4 different speeds, an overall length less than 21.5” with a width just over 9”, and the handle can be attached to either side. The shafts of the U0500STD rotate in the same direction and the unit
